You have to know the inland rules for rivers/lakes, navigation is the same - it's just a question of experience which, I would think anyway, would be just as valid from the Ocean Bouy's inland as they would be from inland port to the Ocean Bouy. If you have a Masters Near Shore, for example, I don't understand why you can't get an inland endorsement or vice versa actually. Do "salties" have to change captains when they pass the Ocean Bouy to travel down the St. Lawrence? Later, Tom |
