Who appointed JimH the 'Lord & Savior' of our newsgroup? No one asked for my vote. *************** Lighten up on ol' JimH. If this is the excuse he needs to modify his own behavior, who cares? It is amazing how the tone of the group can change when a handful of people decide to modify behavior for better or for worse. Jim's motivation may seem odd, but his efforts for 2-3 days now are commendable. They say it takes 21 days to kick a habit, so if the more civil tone prevails for another 16-18 there will be some chance of permanent change. |

So I can't call any names for 21 days before the urge is gone? Sounds like a rough three weeks! John H "All decisions are the result of binary thinking." I wonder why Chuck saw my motivation as odd. It should be perfectly clear....to have a better NG. Now if we could only get a buy in from Don, Chuck, bb, Krause, jps, Doug Kanter and dsk....I wonder if that is possible? BTW: I guess I will be totally *cured* on March 24th. Perhaps I should start using the patch to help me out until then. ;-) I get my gum from Australia. Don't know if they have 'name-calling' patches. John H "All decisions are the result of binary thinking." |

Hell, even JimH and I have had a meaningful conversation. I DO hope Fritz sees the light, and starts posting meaningful diatribes, but it doesn't look good so far. |

With some people it's a controllable decision and expresses a behavior that can be controlled. With others, its a bonafide personality disorder and literally defines who they are. |
