It just seems bizarre that one of the worst sinners has now 'found religion'. From Christmas on, you fought with anyone you could...made a road trip out to the west coast to tackle a heavyweight or two out there, got soundly trounced and came back to attack half the North East. This after you twice offered truces and broke them. Maybe you should just lead by example for a while...see how this new 'Gentleman Jim' persona suites you. |

Have a nice day Don. ;-) |

It is amazing how the tone of the group can change when a handful of people decide to modify behavior for better or for worse. Jim's motivation may seem odd, but his efforts for 2-3 days now are commendable. They say it takes 21 days to kick a habit, so if the more civil tone prevails for another 16-18 there will be some chance of permanent change. |

So I can't call any names for 21 days before the urge is gone? Sounds like a rough three weeks! John H "All decisions are the result of binary thinking." I wonder why Chuck saw my motivation as odd. It should be perfectly clear....to have a better NG. Now if we could only get a buy in from Don, Chuck, bb, Krause, jps, Doug Kanter and dsk....I wonder if that is possible? BTW: I guess I will be totally *cured* on March 24th. Perhaps I should start using the patch to help me out until then. ;-) I get my gum from Australia. Don't know if they have 'name-calling' patches. John H "All decisions are the result of binary thinking." |
