Default Chrysler Marine (Mitsi'bitchy') Diesel

A buddy has a 150 HP in line 6 cyl diesel
with 'CHRYSLER MARINE' on the valve cover.
We are trying to locate the tach sender.
The tack signal doesn't seem to come from
the alenator, and after searching all
afternoon, I couldn't find any transducers
on the bell housing or the main pulley.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Mike
