Harry, have you heard or or read the book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins? The gist is: Government, business, and the world-banks are run by a group of people with similar self-interests and that they activly manipulate events for their own benefits. I'm not sure I fully belive his theory and that even if it was true I'm not fully convinced it is all a bad thing or that there are other better ways of doing business. And I think the book cold be written better - giving more substance. But still, it's an easy and though provoking read. Gary |
