Default Zodiac F470 (HP Question)..

I have a 15' 6" ex-military Zodiac. Does anyone here (that still talks boat)
have experience with one of these? I have yet to pick an outboard, but was
hoping I could get by with a 25 HP. Will this boat plane with 3 passengers, or
two passengers and diving gear? Oh Yeah, it has the full interlocking aluminum
floor, which is much stiffer than slats. Thanks in advance for your help. Mark

Sounds nice! I have very little experience with RIB's but I think you will be
very disappointed with a 25. I would look in the 60 HP range as a minimum.
They recommend a 75 HP for their current 15' 9".

Dont know exactly this model but 25 hp is not what you want.

I have a 14' zodiac with a Suzuki DT30 30Hp And with 3 divers, it is able
to plane if the wind is with me.

If i was you, i buy a 50hp 4 stroke Honda.

4 stroke, beacaus you are a diver (friend of nature). Eache time i start my
2 stroke, my hart is crying vieuing the oil in the water.

4 stroke, beacaus you want to hear what your friends will tell you.

4 stroke beacaus à 50hp honda drink 1/2 less than my 2stroke 30hp suzuki.

My 2 cents.
