The Beeb gave about half its evening news yesterday to this and it was very, very interesting. That boat really moves! But so far as I know, there was not a word on any other news program or channel. Haven't checked this morning's paper yet but if there is more than a short paragraph I will be surprised. The event had nothing to do with 9/11, or other issues which give Bush's pecker a little twitch, so it obviously wasn't newsworthy in this country. :-) |
