Seems it is going to be taking a strong hold in the US and if you race, you should know about it. Finally, something to read that is easy to understand. It includes downloads of all the forms and rules. http://www.boaterslife.com/?visual=8...7&article=1056 Enjoy !!! =================================== Personally, I view IRC as a revenue grab by US Sailing. Under PHRF handicaps were administered locally, and the certificate revenues acrued to the local YRAs instead of US Sailing. As a one number handicapping system, with no appeals process, it is doomed to failure. At least with PHRF there is an opportunity to optimize the rating to local conditions. |
