We will be getting a boat in about 6 or 7 years when we buy our
retirement
house on the water. Until then we are taking a break from boat
ownership.

Last year we were out on the water on friends boats a dozen or so times.
I
expect the same this coming season.

Huron, Ohio on the Huron River or the Lagoon area.


Sounds good. Solomons is a little place where the Patuxent River meets
the Chesapeake Bay. It's an island only by virtue of a large ditch and
small bridge, but it's nice and close to some pretty good fishing on
the Bay.

Yours also sounds nice. Will you have your own private dock on your
property? How many feet of water frontage?


I won't be able to afford water frontage unless it's well up the
Patuxent River. Then I'd be spending all my time getting to the bay.
I'm considering a house inland with the boat in a marina close to the
mouth of the Patuxent.
