Calif Bill wrote: Go to Pillar Point Harbor. They have a large sandy beach inside the breakwater where they do not dredge. The boat does not get into the water system as little parts. And the $100 would be eaten up in paper work a couple of times over. Perhaps you should take a look at the laws of your own state regarding such issues. Start with AB 1014 Task Force- Prevention of Abandoned Boats - RBOC is following-up on the provisions of AB 1014 [Canciamilla, Chapter 357, Statutes of 2003], legislation the organization sponsored in an effort to develop strategies to prevent recreational vessels from being abandoned and to facilitate the ability of owners to turn in their recreational vessels to public agencies for disposal in lieu of abandonment. Under AB 1014, the Department of Boating and Waterways is convening, an "abandoned vessel advisory committee" to assist in this effort. RBOC is participating on the committee. What about this Assembly Bill contravenes The getting rid of an abandoned boat by the harbor? They drag it up on the beach, the salvagers strip it, the remains, greatly diminished in bulk are put in the land fill. IT'S ****ING ILLEGAL TO DISPOSE OF BOATS IN THIS MANNER....... Read you own damned state laws, for God's sake. IF you were to take a look, you'd find, by doing a simple search like I did, no less than 100 laws pertaining DIRECTLY to the abandonment of recreational vessels. Where is the boat abandoned by the harbor district? Better get hold of yourself, you may explode. Oh, holy ****, Bill!!!! You need to learn to read. Again, it is illegal to abandon recreational boats anywhere in CA. jeez. If I do the simple ****ing google search FOR you, will you then realize, and admit that you are wrong as can be? I repeat "Where is the boat abandoned by the harbor district? Better get hold of yourself, you may explode." And you repeat your stupidity!!! Where in the above does it state anything about a boat "abandoned by the harbor district"? It DOESN'T you dummy!! A boat "abandoned by the harbor", has a completly different meaning. Now, again, I can show you NO LESS than 100 laws pertaining to the ILLEGAL abandonment of watercraft in the state of CA. I challenge you to show me ONE piece of written LEGAL precedent that shows that it is, in fact legal to abandon boats in the state of CA. CAN YOU? |
