Default cat rigs

thanks for all the input fellas. too bad they dont cruise well. im in the
west, and once you get north of point conception, the seas and weather can
get nasty even in the good times. they are very big inside, and i do like
the looks of them. perhaps a niagra or something like it would be a better
choice. will be retiring in a couple of years and do want something that
will go offshore. not for any extended passages, but the trip north from
mexico, central america, is a lot easier if you head out to sea a hundred
miles or so and come back in that way. otherwise a real biotch. have done it
once, crewed on a friends boat. currents and wind still arent exactly
favorable, but much better than one foot on shore. once again, thanks for
