As sweet as the WS was, and it was sweet, taking four straight from the obnoxious NY Yankees may have been better. No? Well, damned close to better. You may soon have more to celebrate, Harry. I suspect that the Sox victory and the upcoming celebrations in Boston this weekend will somehow make Kerry more acceptable to the undecided. Human nature is such that people like upbeat news and tend to associate with winners. Congrats to the Red Sox. Not only did they bury the curse, but they set all kinds of records doing so. My only regret is that my Dad, who was a lifetime Red Sox fan, didn't live quite long enough to see them win. Eisboch |

Even if te undecided break for kerry 2 - 1, (whichi by the way would go against the historical record of undecided voter movement in a presidential election) it would still not be enough to overcome the Bush lead. |

I am not as sure about that as you are. |

Bender - "Futurama" I hope you are not serious. If someone (an undecided) lets a world series win by a team in Boston sway their opinion of a Presidential candidate from Boston then that person is indeed an idiot. No further explanation needed. |

No - you said undecided are idiots. I want to know why undecided voters are idiots. Has nothing to do with baseball. No - you said undecided are idiots. I want to know why undecided voters are idiots. Has nothing to do with baseball. Later, Tom Your question indeed had everything to do with baseball and I answered it. If you want to now change the question that is fine. I had previously explained why the undecided are idiots. If one cannot make up ones mind after being able to assess Bush over the past 4 years and Kerry over at least the last 1 year then that person is indeed an idiot. ;-) |
