Hey NOYB, or Skippy, or whatever your redneck buddies call
you...although you probably have no freinds anyway....

lol...who's taking the anti-depressants now? Maybe thats why you talk
like you're in a stupor constantly.....lol...

CNN News...
It's finally happened for the Boston Red Sox -- the curse has been
broken. And not just broken -- battered, crushed, you name it. The
BoSox on Wednesday night completed their World Series sweep of the St.
Louis Cardinals, taking the fourth and deciding game 3-0.

You may soon have more to celebrate, Harry.

I suspect that the Sox victory and the upcoming celebrations in Boston
this weekend will somehow make Kerry more acceptable to the undecided.

Human nature is such that people like upbeat news and tend to associate
with winners.

Congrats to the Red Sox. Not only did they bury the curse, but they set
all kinds of records doing so. My only regret is that my Dad, who was a
lifetime Red Sox fan, didn't live quite long enough to see them win.

If so it only validates my claim that the undecided are a bunch of idiots.

Even if te undecided break for kerry 2 - 1, (whichi by the way would go
against the historical record of undecided voter movement in a presidential
election) it would still not be enough to overcome the Bush lead.

I am not as sure about that as you are.

NOYB and skippy aren't the same person. NOYB owns/owned Boston Whaler's and
Grady Whites, and uses them in the Gulf of Mexico about 400 hours per year.
Skippy owns/owned a Bayliner and looks at it in his driveway in Kansas.

I said it.

Nope. But I sure needed a stiff drink after Rivera let game 4 slip away.

I hope you are not serious. If someone (an undecided) lets a world series
win by a team in Boston sway their opinion of a Presidential candidate from
Boston then that person is indeed an idiot. No further explanation needed.

Now that's an interesting concept. Not that it matters in MA though.

Precisely. MA was already going for Kerry. However, a Red Sox win may
actually cost Kerry the states of Missouri (for obvious reasons) and NJ
(where there are a lot of Yankee fans).
