When has it ever been the guvmint's responsibility to provide jobs?

never said it was. the govt helps investors by giving them tax breaks
on losses, and by reducing their capital gains to about zero. i pay

Republicans don't give a crap whether you live or do...

Any American who loses a job should be entitled to retraining for a new,
decent job that at least pays the same, and for health care coverage in
the interim. that keeps him and his family healthy. Period.

We have crappy health care in this country, and an even crappier health
care delivery system. The real statistics on health care do not have us
at the top of the list in terms of low infant mortality, life span or
quality of life.

the typical republican conservative thinks govt should stay out of
health care, but enforce a state religion.
