Also Sprach Gould 0738 :
Some of the other numbers also don't make "cents." 20 I/0 boats under 10'? 177 inboard boats under 10'? I'm pretty sure I've ever seen an under 10' boat with an I/O or inboard. Dan Most likely jetskis. Don't they get registered under the jet drive category? Dan -- Anyone who cannot cope with mathematics is not fully human. Dan There is some crossover. When a dealer registers a boat with the state, there are some categories for propulsion. Some of these obviously get mismarked, maybe the hourly help filling out the form for the dealer just checks "inboard" on everything, or what not. I am pretty sure that's why so few sailboats show up in the statistics- there is a "sail" category, but a lot of people probably just check off "inboard". I'll send you the link to the site. (Shhhh!) :-) |
