Yes, some of the Democratic debates highlight the '****ing off' technique with
regards to Mr Dean. If you are referring to my post regarding grammar, etc. as a
'meaningless insult', then we disagree. The 'meaning' behind the post reflected
the 'stones and glass house' idiom. I would characterize that post as a
'meaningful rebuke', not as a 'meaningless insult'.

Okay. Maybe I just have gone about it differently.

Probably, but would you have been as effective? His writing has improved
tremendously in the last few days!

To elaborate on that. IMHO "world opinion" is easily bought and sold.
I feel that Saddam bought his "French opinion" and we can easily buy some
new opinions as well.
I also feel that the UN is a "let's bash the US into giving more handouts"
debating society as often as it's not.

Let's look at what the playing countries really want?

Russia wants economic recovery from it's dismal life as the USSR
Germany wants to sell it's stuff.

France wants to think it's still a relevant power, and sell it's stuff.

What stuff? ;)

The Arabs want to keep thier little oil dictatorships propped up, sell

oil,
and hate Israel.

One day in the not too distant future,
a barrel of oil won't be worth an extra large pile-o-camel dung.
Count on it. What are they going to do then?

China secretly wants it's brand of communism to rule the world.

Yabut..

Oh do they Like selling *thier* stuff

How's those inline rebuilds coming?

db

Japan wants to buy the world, and feel protected by us.
The other two English speaking countries (Australia and England) want to
stay in bed with us, because it's been a good relationship for all parties
concerned so far.

And everyone else is either a bit player or wants something for nothing.
hehe

newsflash: Saddam is in custody, and really doesn't have to prove
anything about WMD's. Bush certainly does in the court of world
opinion.

Drink oil and eat camel dung for all I care. :p

The inline rebuilds drag on. I scored an NOS powerhead still in the box for
a 68/69 125 the other day. I might have to sit on that for a while, but when
the right buyer comes along.....
