It's just that when I look up "bikini" I find the
bathing suit defininition as well as the geographical.
But with "bimini" I can't seem to find anyplace that it's
actually defined as other than the geographical.

Bimini is not in the Oxford English Dictionary.

It's not in the annual updates, either. It might make it into the 3rd
edition, which is being compiled but will not be released for a few years.
