Speedometer not working

I have a 2003 Four Winns Fish n' Ski I/O and the speedometer quit working.
I'm not sure where to start looking for problems. There isn't anything
hanging underneath the boat, but I checked for weeds and the like. I want
to make sure I'm not missing anything simple before I contact the dealer.
