Then there is the guy who just holds his hand over his mouth. If I were you, I just wouldn't go to any stores that require them. It is only Costco right now. I may start using curbside there but I have about 5-6 weeks worth of dog food so they may change their policy by them. |

In fact Wayne said that was what he used (actually the first time I knew what you called those U/V protectors I see guys on boats wearing). I think the CDC actually uses the term "cloth face covering" is some of their politically correct writings. |

Now the powers that be are admitting, if you are 6 feet away, you probably don't need a mask and they also say incidental contact is also not dangerous (passing someone at the Walmart). The transmission seems to be where people are on close contact for a long time, like sitting together on a pew singing hymns, sharing a sacrificial wine chalice and passing snakes around. |

The purpose and goal is to cause the covid thing to die out. Wearing a mask may or may not help or even be required but they don't hurt and *might* prevent some from becoming infected who, in turn, will infect others. It's not just one precaution. It's taking a number of precautions because it's still not fully understood what all the means of transmission is. Something is working. The rate of infections is decreasing in many places .... although they are increasing somewhat in others ...like in your state of Florida. Funny that the general decrease in infections began about the time that the wearing of masks was either mandated or recommended in many states. I was just out to a store to pick up a fan. *Everyone^ there were wearing a mask.
