And also because it's naive to think that the federal government could
organize such an effort in a short time, let alone do it successfully.

It's the job of the federal government to *assist* state governments in
emergency situations.

Cuomo is doing a good job overall.Â* Others, not so much.

Man, you really promote the Trump b.s. The federal government can
legally intervene in times of crisis to handle what needs to be handled.

Watching you Trump supporters defend Trump's lies and bull**** about the
CORONA-19 crisis is like watching a battered wife whose husband beats
her every night but who gets up the next morning and makes him breakfast
in bed.

Do some reading, Harry.

We aren't looking great, but compared to a lot of the 'great health system'
countries, we're looking pretty damn good in the cases/million category. We're
in much better shape than France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium,
Switzerland, and the list goes on. If Trump is a failure, then there are a lot
of other failures around the world.

And, once again, for the flat line EEGers here...for the moment and as
insane as that is, Trump is in charge. He has the power to *force* all
sorts of companies to produce what is needed and to allocate it and to
transport it, and he has the power to appoint someone with balls to
actually run a manufacturing and supply program that operates nationwide
and he has the power to do a lot more. He cannot make up for the time he
lost us, but he can be working seriously on the threat instead of
complaining about the politicians he doesn't like. So far, Trump has
shown no leadership. He has been useless.

So you are for martial law!

I don't think the country should be depending upon a crooked pillow
manufacturer who gets up during Trump's devoid of content briefings,
kisses Trump's ass and thinks we should pray.

So now it is a crooked pillow manufacturer. Seems as if he is not forcing
people to buy them at the point of a gun. Unlike the last President who
stole all the money from people who loaned money to GM with secured loans.
With the stoke of a pen, he stole that money. Eliminating security on
loans. Don’t you wish he had down that on your house secured loan?

I can't believe even someone like Harry believes what he posts.

But then again, I suppose TDS can strip one of any functioning
brain cells.

I am of the opinion Harry May have less functioning brain cells the Joe.

So they should have put the Louisiana and New Orleans politicians in jail

Presidential powers under a national emergency have been codified, moron. It has nothing to do with "communism."

Your thoughts have everything to do with communism. You are almost
as confused as Biden.

Does anyone have one? I haven't heard it.
As long as we have our finger on the stop button, the economy will
continue to go down hill. Once all of the furloughed and "home sick"
employees are officially laid off because the stimulus money ran out
and their employer went tits up, unemployment will be much worse. It
is worse now than reported, simply because the government bureaucracy
is overwhelmed with filers and they can't process them all.

When has the government actually shown the ability to run anything?
They bankrupted a whore house in Nevada. (The Bunny Ranch).
