Any Husvarna lawnmower shop should be ablebto service it.

D'uh...we have a Husqvarna and KTM motorcycle dealer a short distance
away. It's not as if we live in ****ville, Florida, near you. KTM also
makes some nice dual-purpose bikes that aren't too big to handle on the
trail.

As you are his bestest buddy, Tim, I think you should encourage Herring
to spend as much time as possible riding I-95 on his scooter.

I encourage him to ride anyhow. Heck, I’m comptimplaring making the 11 hr ride out there for Rolling thunder. I’m not the “iron butt” I used to be, so I’d probable split the trip in two days out , but still...

Oh boy...anything over 50 miles and I want to trailer the bike. That's why something in the 250 pound range appeals to me.

Perhaps you've never had a comfortable bike. I've had the Guzzi over 900 miles in a day. No sweat.
Maybe a bit stiff though.

Don, if it’s still available you might inquire about the Honda Wave.. It’s kind is a half scooter, like a moore modern looking cub. Here’s a vid in Dutch, I believe

And this gives some specs. I take it they are either 110 or 125cc. The look to be fun, light, and easy on gas.
