That appears to be the British in WWII (based on the Browning HP
pistol) but don't let details get in the way of a good joke.

I made a similar observation myself. Are they really saying a Marine
service helicopter can't fly in the rain?
OTOH maybe it is just that they are not as particular about GIs.

I did hear some speculation that there may have been a threat.

Why would anyone want to threaten Trump? Seriously, what is the problem
with the POTUS-mobile?

I suspect the minimum flight standards are different for carrying the
POTUS than they are for flying in a combat situation.

That said, there have been plenty of combat flights grounded due
to weather as well.

There are always people who would like to take a shot at an American
president. They don't even use the armored car in the US if there is a
place to land a helicopter. Andrews is a 15-20 minute car ride from
the White House and a pretty straight shot down Suitland Parkway but
they always take the helicopters. They also always have a fleet. Even
here in SW Florida they take at least 3 identical helicopters and
overseas it can be 5, just to make it harder to figure out which one
to shoot down.

Don, comments such as that show how little you regard the truth and how much you'll believe
everything you here on the liberal news (or from Krause).
