This would be such a food fight I doubt anyone in their right mind
would support it. The original constitution was ratified by the vote
of 2/3ds of the state legislatures. If that was still going to be the
rule, those big blue states would really have a problem. You only have
to look at the red/blue map to see where the trouble lies.

When Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota and Idaho have the same number of
votes as Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and California, expect a
lot of things not to go their way.
