Haven't done a brisket yet. So far the pork shoulder has been the
biggest chunk of anything put on
there. Might buy and try a brisket this weekend. I'd hate to screw up a
$40 chunk of beef though.

You should know by now that there's nothing to screw up. Season the
meat, put it on the grill, and make sure it doesn't run out of pellets
before it's up to the correct temp.

serious thought to another
controller for this thing.


It is under warranty. Just call up Treager. My controller went bad,
they sent me a replacement. Takes 5 minutes to change. Couple screws and
a plug.
