I haven't had that happen, but I do get pestered on a regular basis about bringing in more Pig Candy by several of them. I could suggest a quid pro quo arrangement, but we just had sexual harassment training.

Haven't done a brisket yet. So far the pork shoulder has been the biggest chunk of anything put on
there. Might buy and try a brisket this weekend. I'd hate to screw up a $40 chunk of beef though.

You should know by now that there's nothing to screw up. Season the meat, put it on the grill, and make sure it doesn't run out of pellets before it's up to the correct temp.

Done.

Done unless the controller decides to go ape ****! I've been giving some serious thought to another
controller for this thing.

Hmm... you been having issues with the controller? Unless it's some known issue with the model you have, it really shouldn't be doing anything funky. Pellet grills in general are known to be more stable than your kitchen oven.
Have you tried contacting them? Maybe do the warranty thing.

It is under warranty. Just call up Treager. My controller went bad,
they sent me a replacement. Takes 5 minutes to change. Couple screws and
a plug.
