Before I thought twice, I thought you'd made a typo and meant 6". So maybe that's going around!


That would be close for Don's old motor.


My old motor has an odd looking 5 blade fan type propeller..maybe 10" in diameter.

Propped for power, not for speed. Most of the old Seagulls were like
that.

Around here it would be an 80 or 90 ft shrimp boat.

They had one tied up behind Diversified Yacht next to the FMB bridge
that may swing a 6' wheel.

There are conventional boats with 6 ft props but they usually don't
need to worry about gators.


Sure, but they all have reverse!

It would have two and they would have a reverse gear.
