Taxes are weird here. They say my house appraises at $230k, the taxible amount is $193k, "SoH" (prop 13 thing) reduces that more, then I get $25k off for homestead and the bill ends up being the $1700 I pay. I have never actually been able to get the math to work out to the number they get. |
