Brother and I went for a bike ride to West Virginia on Saturday. Rented a brand new Harley for
him,$125 for 24 hours, which I thought was very reasonable. Had a great time on some WV roads that seem to have been designed by a motorcyclist. Put 380 miles on the bikes with no problems. He was a motorcycle cop for a bunch of years, so I figured he'd be on my butt in the twisties. But, a Harley just won't do it. This was a 2017 Harley, all decked out. Beautiful bike, if you like 'em. But it couldn't keep up with a 28 year-old Guzzi. Maybe we should have borrowed your Ducati, eh Harry? |
