I'm not sure I'd buy one at $40.00. I only used the NAV app on the truck
once, just to see how it worked. My wife uses the NAV on her car, though.

Never been a real Nav fan. I guess I just figured out how to find my
way around without it for the million or more miles I have put on
cars.

In the old days, a map and a little driving around in a new place I had traveled to had me finding my way around just fine for the week or two I was there. Now with nav leading you around, it seems that the learning curve is much longer.

Is nice since few phone books available to look up a business in the area.

I think Nav causes people's sense of direction to atrophy and the kids
who grow up with it will be lost if it stops working. It will be like
losing their calculator and trying to do math with a pencil.
