I am 5'11" and I had dropped to your weight ... 195 lbs. Everyone thought I was seriously sick and honestly I didn't feel all that much better despite all the weight loss and after daily cardio exercise and weight lifting for 6 months. The doc advised me not to lose anymore weight and, for my build, I could actually gain a little back. I feel best at about 210. I weighed around 180 from High School through the CG and my first few years at IBM. Then as I aged I put on 10-20 more. I have never been more than 210 (for a short while) and not less than ~190 in the intervening 45 years. If I step on the scale at Publix and I am busting the deuce, it is "step away from the doughnuts". I try to hover between 195 and 200. |

For me, it works. At 190, I'd like to lose about ten pounds. The last time I weighed close to what that chart says I should weigh was shortly after Mrs.E and I got married.
