Default Joke for the morning.

Keyser Soze

"12 cubic yards? You are full of ****. A full sized pickup truck bed
might hold two cubic yards of mulch if you can tie a tarp over it. That
would be six full pickup loads. If you buy the mulch in the typical two
cubic foot bags Home Depot sells, 12 cubic yards would amount to about
165-170 bags. I buy the equivalent of 100 bags a year to recover our
planting beds. Unless you are covering your entire lot, leaving no room
for grass, you aren't spreading 12 cubic yards or anything close to it."

Is The John lying again?
Seems like he just can't help himself.

Big quantities, are bulk purchase, and a big dump truck delivers. If you
bought it in 2-3 cubic foot bags, you will be paying way too much.

That is true. I got that 18 wheeler for less than the best deal we
could find on 2 pallets of bagged mulch. We had access to a machine so
bags would just slow us down.

Very true. I thought buying the bags might save some work. I've always bought the bulk, usually 8
yards. This year we've got a bigger 'bed'.

Trust me, Donnee, I've not come close your buddy's level of dishonesty. But I gotta admit I was off
a bit in my calculations.

It could be that Donnee was simply trying to appease Harry, just like he does with his drinking
accusations directed at Bill.

I'm sure he doesn't lie to you Tim, but he sure does take delight in constantly throwing that term at other posters.
Maybe he's lying when he does that.

Do you think Tim and I have a different 'rec.boats' than you do? He sees the same posts you do,
Donnee.

You say, "...throwing that term at other posters." What other 'posters' (plural). I can think of
only one, Krause, who has been caught repeatedly in lies.

Are there more? Or are you just making up another story?
