"My guns will have been 'sold' by the time Hillary's footsoldiers knock on the door for mine." Better be able to prove that, Johnny. You forget, he lives in a state where they sell them from the trunk of their car according to Harry. He just has to say "I sold them all to Harry in the Springfield mall parking lot. Go get him." We have a winner! It is perfectly legal in Virginia to sell firearms from the trunk of your car. Long rifles and handguns may be sold legally between residents of the state, and long guns may be legally sold to non-residents. That's why, when I told a SIG to a Virginia resident, I first transferred the pistol to a Virginia FFL and he transferred it to the buyer. Thus, if Herring wanted to sell me one of his ****ty rifles, he could do so in the parking lot of a mall, but he could not legally directly sell and transfer to me one of his ****ty pistols. What firearms does he own that are "****ty"? Something you haven't owned? You can sell guns privately but you better have a record of who the buyer was. They trace guns used in a crime and start with the manufacturer and move on from there. If the trail stops with you, you have some explaining to do. |
