Y'all better get Mercury's maintenance manual.....or better yet, find a competent person to handle your maintenance/winterizing. Maybe depends on how much you ran the motor. I have a V8 and change the oil yearly. Sometimes in the fall and sometimes in the spring. But we rarely have deep freeze winter. I was putting only about ten-twelve hours a year on that boat. That's why I got rid of it. Too damn costly, especially depreciation, insurance, and storage. |
