I have no interest in an "old" new 10/22 or a "new" new 10/22 rifle. I
already have a .22 rifle that shoots better.

I might take that bet, using my 60+ year old Remington pump.
I paid $20 for it.

What bet?

That you CZ wonder gun ain't all that.

Wonder gun? Where did you get that? It is a stock CZ 455 and it is more
accurate than a stock 10/22. This is it:

I never made it through the movie trailer.

Why? The stock CZs under discussion are more accurate than the 10/22s.

The issue is whether the shooter is more accurate than the gun.

That's Tim's issue. Some firearms are inherently more accurate than
others. You should have watched the little video I referenced.

About a minute into the ad, I didn't care anymore.
The caption says it shoots inside a 1/2 MOA but most shooters can't
accomplish 10 times that without a rest and a scope.

The guy was using a rest and a scope. I doubt a 10/22 could match that at
100 yards no matter what.

So what?
Most people do not sit at a bench with a scoped rifle trying to shoot
tight groups all day, particularly with a 22 rf.

Accuracy was the point here. If you're not concerned with accuracy, get
yourself a zip gun, eh?

When I go to the 100 yard range, just about everyone there is trying to
shoot tight groups with scoped rifles and pistols, and handguns with red
dots. That you can get a very accurate rimfire rifle for a few hundred
bucks that will do the job far better than the 10/22, which sells for
pretty close to the same price, is interesting.

Accuracy is the point?

Ok. 10/22 bi-pod mount and big scope. Prone, Windy. Whacking an 8 in steel plate @ 250 yards. Not every hit but doing a great job of it

Uh, that's not a stock 10/22. Shooter changed the stock, the barrel, and
probably the receiver. The CZ was stock. So, your shooter turned a $200
rifle into what, a $700 rifle? Not impressed.
