Default memorial day.

Wife went to San Francisco palace of fine arts with her friend to see an
exposition. Me, worked on the sprinkler system, made pasta salad, and have
country style ribs on the smoker at 255 degrees. Took a few moments to
remember those who served. Thought of my uncle who survived WW2 for 4
years in the Pacific, from quadacanal to waking up in a hospital in the
Philippines the day the Japanese surrendered. Was a combat soldier. Never
really recovered from the ptsd, plus malaria, jungle rod. Died in 1962 at
45 years old. I think mostly from left over war damage. Thought of my
brother who was a seaBee in VN. Agent orange veteran. Me I spent most of
my time in an air conditioned electronics shop at Travis AFB.
