When I lived in New Haven, much of Connecticut was rural. In fact, one of the girls I dated in high school was the daughter of a fellow who ran a large and successful truck farm and poultry enterprise just north of the New Haven city limits. There were dozens of small farms in the greater New Haven area. Where I lived in Kansas was rural and later when I worked for The Star, I was regularly getting myself assigned to agricultural stories, and these usually were "way out there" in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. Virtually every time you posit your thoughts about what I am thinking...you are wrong. I only reflect the thoughts you write. Whenever a conversation of a rural area comes up, you **** on it. Didn't you just say you would be willing to lose everything south of DC except a few areas that are basically extensions of northeastern cities? |
