It may be the first time in almost 50 years that a third party candidate gets more than one EC vote. Doubtful, especially if the GOPer nominee is Trump or Cruz, perhaps the two biggest hate-filled and lying assholes to ever run for that nomination and office. Bernie is doing a good job with the non-secret-ballot caucus states, but not so well in the secret ballot states, and there are a number of big ones coming up shortly. I can't see Bernie winning New York, Pennsylvania, or California So you are saying people are embarrassed to be voting for Hillary but in the sanctity of the voting booth they can hold their nose and do it. If Trump is denied the nomination, I still think he'll run as an Indy, even if it is apparent he won't be on the ballot in enough states to win. He will help destroy the GOP nominee, though, which would be fine with me. I don't really have a dog in that fight,. the GOP left me years ago Hillary was and is my first choice, and I'll be delighted to see her become POTUS. |

I am sure you would but you liked her husband in spite of all of the things he did to screw your causes ("Unleashing" wall street, anti gay legislation, deregulating banks, increasing tax benefits for raping the corporate safety net, downsizing and off shoring jobs. etc). If you like being screwed by bill, I am sure you will rationalize being screwed by hillary. It will just be the 5th Bush administration as far as Wall Street is concerned and the GHWB wars will go on into the 2020s. |
