Default Scalia found dead...

Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Antonin Scalia was found dead
Saturday on a luxury resort in West Texas, federal officials said.

Scalia, 79, was a guest at the Cibolo Creek Ranch, a resort in the Big
Bend region south of Marfa. MySanAntonio.com said he died of apparent
natural causes.

Scalia arrived at the ranch on Friday and attended a private party with
about 40 people, the website of the San Antonio Express News said. When
he did not appear for breakfast, a person associated with the ranch went
to his room and found a body.

At first I thought this was another of your Andy Boriwitz swipes but
then I opened my browser and realized it was for real.

I opened mine, saw the headlines, and a jolt of fear for our country ran through me.

My first thought when I saw the Texas dateline was that Scalia had gone
hunting with Cheney.

Cheney lives in Wyoming.

It just shows the total lack of respect Harry has for other's
misfortune.

D'uh...

When Cheney shot his buddy in the face, the two of them were on one of
those canned hunt "hunting preserves" in Texas. Scalia was an avid
hunter, and he died in Texas on a "ranch-preserve." It certainly was in
the realm of possibilities that Scalia had been shot "by accident" when
I first saw the headline.

Where Cheney lives is not relevant.

You fellas sure are slick.

Well, condolences to his family and friends. I didn't like his
judicial positions, but he was entitled to them. I wouldn't mind
seeing Associate Justice move on.

Forget about observing the constitution, just so the rulings favor your
position. Sad. Scary also, some court could then bring back slavery, as
well as any other ruling left or right.
