The guys committing the murders are not collectors and target shooters. They're mostly gang members and/or drug dealers defending their turf. I don't really know enough about Canadian cities and their culture to understand why they don't have the same problem. Perhaps it's related to a different inner city culture but I don't really know. I'm sure there must be at least a few gangs in Canada, and I know there are drug issues. Maybe they've found a less violent way to resolve disputes.
