Default “History of the Eagles”

Just finished watching the “History of the Eagles” documentary on
Netflix. There are some really good musical memories there along with
a lot of insight into the personality dynamics of musical groups. It's
a really good film - highly recommended - two thumbs up.

I haven't watched it again, yet. I will, I think it is a
great documentary. It also increased my appreciation for Joe Walsh.

Ever see the Clapton 2004 Crossroads DVD when Walsh joins James Taylor
on stage? I LMAO every time I watch it.

Here's an interview of Walsh, there are spots where you can hear deep
emotion in his voice as he talks about the band breaking up and his
stopping drug use.

Yes, that's a great rendition from two greats.

I saw James back in the early '80s in a small venue and had great floor seats. He did a very different version of that. It was the hard, driving kind that left you feeling it in your gut and whole body. Awesome. Still ranks up there with one of the best 5 or 6 live performances I've ever seen.
