They are for sale on the open market. This is "special" because it was
in a YouTube video by Hickok45...

Yeah, but this one has all the cute accessories!

There are or were several just like it on gunbroker for under $1000,
including all the accessories, though there are several hammer 9mms
around that probably would outshoot it for much less.

Too much. I like the gun, but I've got to save up for a computer. Got a grandson
graduating high school this year. They get a laptop as a graduation present, if
they've been accepted at a university. This one has an Apple, with all the bells and
whistles, on his Christmas list. That's not going to happen. I'll surprise him at his
graduation. Three neices, one nephew, and now a grandson. These damn computers are
keeping me in the poorhouse.

I would buy an off lease W/7 machine. Most of those "bells and
whistles" are just for bragging rights. If you ask a kid what kind of
car they need to get back and forth from school they will want a
Porsche or something.

Geez, all the cheap skates aren't on hockey players!

And here, Nephew George, are four nicely used tires for that '71 Pinto I
got you last year, and a pair of slightly used high top sneakers that
still have plenty of bounce left in them, and a dozen condoms, used only
once, that I handwashed, dried, and rolled for you. Enjoy college.

Greg had the same first thought I did. I checked with his dad to see if the kid
really needed that much computing power, or if he was into some heavy gaming. The kid
plays no games on his computer!

Yeah, he's smart and busts his ass. He's having a rough time though. There are only 30 kids in the whole program, in Richmond, and almost all the rest are Asian. The Asian kids hang together, Korean clique and Japanese clique, and won't let a regular ol' white boy join their study groups.

If he's going to continue along that career path he'll be meeting a
lot more asians along the way. They're smart and highly motivated at
home. I'd suggest that he try to make friends with some of those kids
and hopefully gain a measure of acceptance.

He gets along with them, but when he asks about studying together they brush him off
with, 'Oh, we don't study as a group after school.' It's a very competitive school. I
saw the same thing when teaching eighth grade. The Asian kids stick together, by
country, especially the Koreans. They're great kids, study their asses off, and their
parents play a big role in their education. The big question is like, "Why is Jeong
getting only a B+ in Algebra this quarter?"

You can find some very capable machines coming off lease right now.

OK, then you can't complain about the price.
