They sell gallons and gallons of it during the day, so it is always fresh-brewed and hot, and a lot less expensive than $tarbuck$. As Tim says, McDonald's has decent coffee...can't say the same for the food there, though. During the summer I got hooked on iced coffee. Now I can't give it up. Have to have a large after the morning van run. Learned not to get it *before starting the run. |

I think Luddite first asked the question about your Vietnam unit that searched and recovered dead soldiers. Hee, hee. I didn't "ask". I just commented that I had not heard of civilians in any official capacity searching for bodies while the war was going on. You should ask. The John isn't interested in the facts but some of us appreciate the truth. Johnny loves to think he's the Donald Trump of the newsgroup, and that he can use his version of bluster to "demand" that other posters do as he wishes. It's sort of funny to watch once in a while. The truth isn't too much to ask, is it? Apparently Don thinks there is a big difference between facts and truth. -- Ban idiots, not guns! If I'm on a long ride, they're a great place to stop for a break. I can eat a sausage and egg on a hamburger bun, if they will do it but I am not much of a muffin or biscuit guy. Too dry. McD doesn't have much on the lunch menu I like if I want more than a salad. I really like the S/E/C on a croissant at the Burger King but I suspect that is a heart attack in a bag. The thing seems to be dripping in butter. I am not really in love with any "fast food" fries. The best ones were at Sonny's BBQ but I haven't been there for a while. I imagine the health nuts may have changed the formula by now. I think they used to use lard.
