The truck and trailer towing problem in California is the speed limit. 55! I-5 is 2 lanes each way most of the way through the Central Valley. So the trucks are pushing 62-64, and then try to pass on a hill. Where the car speed limit is 70 and most are pushing 75-80. |

Because it creates massive traffic backups when the high speed car traffic has no way around the trucks. It also inspires a certain amount of reckless behavior which leads to accidents. |

What Wayne was trying to explain, and for some stupid reason you don't comprehend, was it sucks to be stuck behind TWO2 truckers (got it) trying to pass each other on a hill. Most likely doing 1/2 mile an hour over the other (got it yet?) Did I cut an paste right this time? |

There is no need to cut and paste if you have a decent news reader set up properly, but yes, you did fine. I thought he was complaining about an RV, doing the speed limit in the RIGHT lane, getting in his way. |

I'm planning to go down for a week or so. Know any campgrounds worth their money down there? -- Ban idiots, not guns! |
