Replaced the starter and solenoid, replaced the throttle/shift cables, redid the electrical wiring. I'm not particularly mechanically inclined, but I'm good at troubleshooting and YouTubing. When I upgraded from the '71 SeaSprite to the '85 Phantom, I wasn't afraid to dig into replacing the rack steering. Saved me a bundle on paying more for a ready-to-go boat. lol |
