That flag and its variations represent nothing more than treason,
tyranny, slavery, and the desire of ignorant white men to insult black
people. The only funny thing about the perpetuators of the flag and the
horrors for which it stood are their never ending attempts to claim the
Civil War in this country was not fought over slavery.

products bearing the Confederate flag, a week after a white gunman shot
nine dead at a historically black South Carolina church.

"defense" of flying the confederate flag or lamenting that it is heading

It was the battle flag and perfectly appropriate for a war memorial.
If the institutions of the old south are your beef, it should be the
political flag that was banned.

If the racists Harry is worried about co opt the American flag next,
should we ban that one too?


The retailers are getting a lot of free publicity for it. I could care
less about that flag and I'm surprised it took this long for it to be an
issue.

The Washington Redskins have survived their "controversy" so far but
they may be next.

You will see it if you get over in "souf'ese". I have a friend who is
rehabilitating an inlaw's house on Wheeler Road and I inspected the
electric for him a few years ago. There are plenty of gangsters down
there.
I will agree, perhaps this is not supposed to be on a state flag like
Mississippi but it is the choice of the people in that state, not
activists on MSNBC.

War memorials are a different issue but the country is full of them.
How are you on the ones that glorify the subjugation of the indians?
