Hi
I have Yamaha outboard 2 stroke motor (250 hp, model 1996). My issue with this motor that when I accelerate the speed control at a certain speed the RPM varies up and down it self. can somebody help me to solve this issue. |

Are your filters fresh? Does it smooth out if you squeeze the ball? If you have another fuel line and a portable tank you can eliminate all of the "boat side" fuel system problems. There is a chance you have a bad fuel line. There are some styles that had an inner liner that collapses and blocks the flow. My yamaha 4 stroke did that and was a dirty jet in the carb. |
