If I want to make some noise, I have some 30 round mags for my M1A but a handgun is fine with 7 or 8, particularly if you have a few spare mags. It is only the cops who need 19 rounds to hit a guy. Just how many guys have you hit recently with your firearms or fists? Fortunately none. I have been involved is several violent confrontations here, including one where at least one of the people had a gun. I was able to defuse all of them without any violence and nobody was hurt. I prefer my wits and diplomacy instead of being a hot head and immediately provoking a fight. The only difference between you and Zimmerman was you didn't have a gun. I think you are a first-class coward, actually, and would run like a scared puppy dog if your only other choice was to stop a fight. Zimmerman assaulted a kid carrying snacks and killed him. I stopped a thug from assaulting a woman and her kid. If you think those are equivalent acts, you are pretty stupid. Now it's a 'thug assaulting a kid'. What will it be next week? How often did the kid get hit, Harry? You talking about Martin? He didn't have a mark on him, while Zimm was cut and blodied. Doubt if Harry's target was marked by Harry's wrist shot either. "Swung and missed" I ask you. How could you miss someone the size of Harry. No, I'm talking about Harry saying he stopped a thug from assaulting a kid. When did the assault on the kid enter the story? It wasn't in Harry's original account. I wonder why Harry thought the kid was in jeopardy? Well, I seem to remember the kid being mentioned in the first harrytale... |

Well, I seem to remember the kid being mentioned in the first harrytale... The thug was pulling on the kid and slapping the woman who I assume was the kid's mother. Pulling on a little kid while slapping his mother is...assault of the woman and the child. I think you are a first-class coward, actually, and would run like a scared puppy dog if your only other choice was to stop a fight. I am not afraid of a fight. I am just smart enough to resolve issues without getting my wrist broken like you did. It must be your union thug background. Zimmerman assaulted a kid carrying snacks and killed him. I stopped a thug from assaulting a woman and her kid. If you think those are equivalent acts, you are pretty stupid. Zimmerman just followed a kid he suspected of being a burglar with pretty good cause it turns out. and when he was attacked he defended himself. What would you have done if that first punch, connected and he was sitting on your chest beating your head on the street? Of course all of this assumes there was a woman, a child and you were actually rescuing anyone not just tripping over a curb and going down while you were playing with your new phone. I don't believe you could successfully mediate a dispute a colony of ants might have over the best path to follow to carry home an apple core. You are too argumentative, you're obstreperous, you tend to take a few simple facts and add all sorts of elements not in play, you don't know when to stop arguing, and, seriously, you look like a renegade from Duck Dynasty, or a hermit. Frankly, all you could do is escalate a fight others are having. I am not the one with the broken wrist so I don't want to hear about your negotiating skills. In the incident, I'm not touting my negotiating skills. You are the one who was touting yours. -- “There’s more idleness and abuse of government favors among the economically privileged than among the ranks of the disadvantaged.” - Norman Mailer |

Sounds like the guy was committing a felony, unlawful restraint or even attempted kidnapping. Figures krause wouldn't even stay around to see the results, broke his wrist running away.. Could have been the guy was just trying to prevent an abduction of his child. |

Well, maybe in his relocated midwestern redneck part of the world, among his duck dynasty buddies. You are having that reading comprehension problem again. I will say I have jumped in the middle of lots of disputes around here and nobody has "taken a swing" at me so I must look more imposing than you. The difference is being able to take control of a situation without looking weak enough so taking a swing is the first thing someone would want to do. I am not a shifty eyed little fat guy tho. The only thing you've jumped in is that swamp behind your house. Bull****. Being a successful Field Engineer for IBM , says Gregg has some people skills. Observing you writing and actions over the years here, I would say you are lacking successful people skills. |

I will take my way. I could have distracted the guy long enough for the woman and kid to get in their car without getting my ass kicked. with what, card tricks? bull****, bull****, bull****. -- “There’s more idleness and abuse of government favors among the economically privileged than among the ranks of the disadvantaged.” - Norman Mailer |
