I have no "sudden interest" in rec.boats.cruising other than noting that
your snarkiness and haughtiness there helped kill that newsgroup, too. I
used to read that newsgroup from time to time.

Your twins, Anonymous and Sir Greg... appear to be the haughty snarks
of 'cruising', just as you are here.

John, you're welcome on my farm anytime. But hunting in my county is shotgun only for deer. Rabbits and about anything else is .22. Odd though you can shoot big bore all you want in target 'practice'. Bye at almost 59 I can still flip a groundhog at 250 yards with a .303 British with v sights. That's bench rested though. Best one I did was a groundhog at approx. 375 10 years ago.

Damn, I can still remember when you could get 2 eggs with bacon, toast
and coffee for a buck.

Back in the early 60's, buddy and I would stop at a place in Petaluma and
have a small Ribeye, 3 eggs potatoes and coffee for. $1.25. But gas was
$0.31 a gallon. And race car tires were $55.
