The last (and actually only) time I was drunk was in the fall of 1964 at
The Stables dance hall and beer barn in Kansas when Chuck Berry was the
featured attraction. One of the "pickup" players in his band there was a
fellow I knew well who had his own college student rock band and lived
down the hall from me in the dorm. He couldn't stop talking about that
night and I don't blame him.

I probably did miss it, don't usually pay much attention to that sort
of thing but yours caught my eye for some reason. Personally I'd
just ignore it. If you don't it turns ino a juvenile food fight and
we have enough of that already. You and Bill are two of the few
