How do we get a subset of people to conform to the majority and do

answer is not just throwing benefits at them.

You must be talking about corporations.

You're not reading well.

I'm sure you have seen this before,
but, who do you think pays ALL corporate taxes.
Since you don't answer my questions, I'll tell you.
You and your friends pay All corporate taxes, where
do you think they get the money. They get that money from
you, your cellphone bill is increased so the company can pay
it's taxes. Everything you purchase costs more because the
corporation is taxed. I think we would be better of eliminating
corporate taxes, that would provide lower priced products and
create more jobs. The offset would be a higher tax rate, but you could
live on less income.
Hey, I have a great example, I had competition under cutting my
prices by 30%, what I sold for $7.50 they sold for $5.00. Why, one
reason is they didn't pay federal income taxes or FICA taxes. There were
other things, but that's at least 30% of profits.

Gosh. A grad of the London School of Economics. Here's a clue...if the
pittance in taxes corporations pay were reduced, prices would not be.
Why? Why, corporate greed, of course.

Next.

Have you avoided taxes due to...individual greed?

Let's start with, I don't want all corporation to go offshore.
And, yes if they could cut 15% off their cost of doing business,
prices would generally drift down.

I think those cuts in cost would simply slip over to the profit column,
and prices would remain the same.

I know you do.
I suggest you save your money and invest it in the corporations that
have these excessive profit margins, and get some for yourself.
Oh, I'll bet you think it doesn't work that way.

That's because you don't have even the slightest clue how business and
the free enterprise system works in real life. You are an educated
fool.

Prices are dictated by supply and demand - profits have nothing to do with it.* Economics 101.* Businesses can choose to use those profits in many ways - some that can benefit their employees.* ESOPs and stock options, for example.* Home Depot made a lot of blue-collar workers a lot of money in its infancy with this method.
